Legendary 25 years Kampua Stall in Miri!

Hey foodies! Have you ever tried Kampua in Miri so tasty that have you reminiscing the authentic Sibu taste from it? I have found a place that serves up pretty similar if not, identical to Sibu style of making Kampua right here in the beautiful city of Miri!

Peach Garden Restaurant & Café

Peach Garden Restaurant & Café serves up one of the best Kampua noodles I have tasted so far in Miri. The story behind this Kampua stall food vendor is that he has been making the dish ever since he was in his teenage years and have been in the same spot of the eatery (which is located at Mosjaya area) for more than 25 years.

Their delicious Kampua is cooked to perfection, whereby it is nicely coated with their seasonings and topped off with a generous amount of sliced pork meat. When sinking your teeth into these delicate noodles, you get that very springy texture and awesome flavours running through your taste buds. Everything is just spot on!

Beef Stomach (Tripe) Soup

Another dish this place is famous for is their Beef Stomach Soup whereby you get a generous amount of sliced-up tripe. A spoonful of blended chilli sauce will be served on the side for you to add more of a spicy kick to your soup. I highly recommend you guys to get a plate of the Kampua and a bowl of the Beef Stomach Soup, as this two dishes really complements each other very well. Aside from that, you can enjoy the best of both worlds!

Regular customers like myself always come back for more because this place’s food taste like no other. They open as early as 6 am and close by 12 noon, but usually they sell out really fast around 10 am. There is always a crowd especially on Saturday and Sunday mornings, so do come on down early if you are ever seeking to give this place a try.
