The takoyaki is available in 4 different fillings, namely octopus, crab meat, prawn. Fret not if you can’t take seafood as chicken ham filling is also available. Among these there are variations of add-ons as well as sauces available to choose from such as their classic bonito flakes, seaweeds, wasabi, BBQ and spicy. And if that is not sinful enough, top up RM1 and watch as your takoyaki balls drown in a bed of mozzarella!

As the taste of takoyaki tend to be dominated by its batter, we highly suggest the octopus as its meat is huge and gives and extra bite. Worry not as they are very generous with their sauces which pairs well as a whole giving your mouth a sort of complex palate to work with sweetness from the mayo, umami from the bonitos or seaweed, the savoriness of the cheese and it can be quite addicting so be sure not to eat it alone or you’ll truly give in to temptation this little monsters on you own! The cool thing about the takoyaki is due to its variations you get to pick what the final outcome of your takoyaki will be like giving you power of your balls… of takoyaki!

If you prefer something with more protein to your dish with just as much of a hot mess, the folks over at Cheesy Takoyaki also serve burgers and hot dogs as well as sausages.
We had the pleasure of biting into their pork burger. Which is a pretty standard street burger, not the gourmet kind. One of its features is that their pork patty is homemade with fried egg and tomato. Its stand out feature is definitely the nachos they sneakily added in which gives a crispy surprise. Be warned that it can get messy when biting this burger so its nice of them to provide you with lots of tissues beforehand :p.

And if you prefer something not as light as takoyaki nor heavy like the burger, go for the cheesy hot dog. It comes with a jumbo sausage snugged in between a hot dog bun topped with some baked beans, egg, and again melted cheese. Again, it can get messy! So come prepare with skills to handle messy eating.

All in all, if you’re looking for a dining experience over here you would not find any complexity in the dishes here, it caters more to the theme of fun eating or chilling among friends and good companions and of course for those who loves to stuff their face in cheese.
