Howdy Borneo Foodies! I must say, Sarawak is pretty eventful this year and we L-O-V-E it. Over the years, Miri Country Music Fest has gathered many festival goers, Country music lovers from all over the State and around the world! This time around, Miri Country Music Fest is back to entertain us with more great lineups and activities.
About Miri Country Music Fest 2022
This year’s MCMF will be held on the 25th and 26th of November 2022. This event in previous years took place at Park City Everly Hotel and Coco Cabana, Miri. For the first time after 8 years, MCMF 2022 will be held at the beautiful and scenic venue, Eastwood Valley Golf and Country Club, Miri, Sarawak.
Pre-Event Activities
The Buku Project
The MCMF organizers have several pre-event activities, one of which is The Buku Project – a CSR initiative aimed at contributing to the educational development of children in rural areas such as SMK Long Lama (Secondary school) and Tadika Long Latei (Preschool). The project is being led by Knewton Global School and involves collecting books in good condition to establish a library at the school. There are drop-off points available at Knewton Global School, Mega Hotel Miri, Eastwood Valley Golf & Country Club, and Pullman Waterfront, Miri. Please ensure that the books you donate are in good condition.
The Golf Challenge
Other than the Buku Project, they are also having a Golf Challenge. To add to that, part of the proceeds from this competition will be channeled to “The Buku Project” we mentioned above. More information on the competition is below;

The Lineups at Miri Country Music Fest 2022
Finally! We’re going to talk about the lineups at this amazing event. Headlining the event will be the ever-so-talented Tantowi Yahya from Indonesia, who is making a comeback. Alongside many talented artists like Ramon Cedillo from Singapore, Cambodia Country Band from the United States and Cambodia, Johnny Loda Trio from Italy, United Kingdom, and Thailand, our very own Lyia Meta, and many more!
