Haven’t heard of such a dish before? Well, it differs from your regular Malay rojak because Indian rojak consists of fresh crunchy vege such as bean sprouts as well as fried chive fritters and tofu. It is also paired with proteins such as fried chicken and egg. All these ingredients are then drenched in a thick sweet gravy for you to enjoy! Sounds delicious? That’s because it is!

Its thick peanut sauce is what makes the dish so loved by their regular customers. Rojak Kucei is packed almost every day. Customers are willing to queue up just to get a taste of this favourite breakfast dish!

Operating since the 1970s, Rojak Kucei (pronounced koo-chay) is located in the always busy Batu Lintang area. It operates from morning until 1pm or if all the food is finished! The workers work nonstop to prepare dishes for their customers, but they will never get tired of serving you with a smile. Now that is one of the little things that makes people want to come here even more! If it is your first time eating at Rojak Kucei, you can always seek help from the workers to decide on what to have! They are always happy to assist you!

The Rojak Ayam is what you should try if it is your first time here. You can also opt for adding noodles to it! Nasi Briyani is also available here but only on Saturdays! So be sure to free up your weekend schedule to try it too!

You can also ask for Fried Chicken Neck (geru ayam) as it is free to those who request for it! Isn’t that great? Not only that, you can also request for extra gravy for your Rojak Ayam if you want too!
